So unfortunately I'm having to order larger collars and so new tags. Not impressed but there you go, such is life. "We have had the tags for a week now and I think that I can definitely say that they are doing exactly what you promised! They have stayed on the dogs' collars through days of wild playing, wrestling, digging and general husky fun - something I have never had before. Even with the normal brass 'hanging' style ones I used to have them get pulled off regularly. The tags are not only practical and very sturdy, but they are beautiful too. I was quite surprised how lovely they are and how nice they look on the collars - and the fact that they are stainless steel means that nobody has any sort of neck mark, which is great as we have several shows coming up and the days of rain we have had recently would have meant a lot of dirty necks with the tags I used to have. The final test was to put my mad puppy's collar on with her new tag and see what happened - the tag stayed firmly in place, despite the fact that eventually I had to take the collar itself off because she was trying to eat it! I will be recommending your tags wholeheartedly to other husky people - they are a solution to a very awkward problem."

"I have been asked to review these Indigo Collar Tags and to say I was impressed is an understatement! We have been using them now for about two months in various situations. We took them to Belgium with us when I competed out there, and the comments we had about them were excellent. Although not able to compete with them on, the dogs wore them all the rest of the time we were out there, we had both mobile numbers including international dialling code, and our name engraved on them, they looked extremely smart on the red collars, but not only that they looked really comfortable on Magic and Scrums necks because they fit the shape of them perfectly, no dangly jangle bits which we have always hated as they clatter against feed bowls which must drive the dogs mad too!! We were also against the disc type tags because having a terrier and spaniels who all like to run through bushes and disappear down holes we were worried that they would catch on branches or tree roots. There is no worry of that with these tags, the dogs can play rough and the tags just stay in place. They are made of non magnetic stainless steel which is bright and extremely strong and the engraving is very clear and deep and will never wear off, guaranteed for the lifetime of the pet, they are neat and tidy, not big and clumsy like some brass ones I've seen, which also tend to discolour, and mark light coated dogs like our Springer spaniel whose neck is white, nice rounded edges that will not catch hair in, and with the adjustable snap buckle collars the tag fits onto the top layer of the webbing leaving another layer of webbing between the tag and the dogs neck. I never run my dogs in collars but these are agility rules 'H' compliant and are ideal for this. They are easy to fit too. There are different tags for different collars with most collars being catered for. If you have a problem with your hands as Mum does, having RSI and arthritis in them, then you can buy the tag already attached to the collar for a very reasonable price, and when you consider the tag lasts a lifetime, guaranteed, no need to continually buy new tags because they've got lost or the bottom half has come unscrewed again! Then they are well worth the money. The website is excellent, it tells you all you need to know, and John Cook will be only too pleased to help if you have any questions. Delivery was very swift and all instructions were included. If you would like to see them then please come and see us at the shows."

The black one is Ojo and the buff Toffee, as you know I highly recommend the tags through my Agility Club but I also tell all my fellow American Cocker Spaniel people about them as they are the only tags I know that have not got tangled in their hair and then I have to cut them out. They are also a god send at Agility Shows as with 5 dogs trying to remember to change collars or take tags off was a pain in the a**e and then having to make sure my 10 year old daughter had the right collar on her dog as well was a bit of a nightmare."

"I found out locally about these fabulous dog tags/collars and thought that one would be perfect for our ESS - My first thought was how brilliant it would be not having a tag hanging down from the collar to catch in the hedgerows or when playing with her buddies, but also how great not to hear it tinkling around the house all the time. So, our new collar and tag has arrived, but, it has more than one additional benefit which I wasn't expecting!!!
1) Flossies best friend is our daughter, she is now over 1 year of age and had developed an interest in the lovely shiny bit hanging/jangling from Flossies collar, I was always worried that one day she'd pull it off, or that Floss would get fed up of her playing with it, the new collar/tag is of no interest to her at all so I feel both are safer.
2) Floss just loves water, she's already been for a couple of swims in some disgusting water, both collar and tag are still in brilliant shiny condition, and the collar isn't stretching like the old leather ones did.
I can't show you a pic of Floss modeling her new collar as it nestles into her fur too well!!! Surely a sign of comfort! "To All at Indigo, I received my nylon collar with tag in the post a couple of days ago. Firstly I was impressed with the speed with which it arrived, and secondly with the quality of the product. The finish is excellent. As a former Animal Welfare Officer for my local council, part of my job involved collecting stray dogs. It was enormously frustrating how many dogs that we picked up had a collar but no tag. If the owners had fitted Indigo tags to their dogs collars, we would have been able to trace them immediately, and get their dog straight back to them. My dog is microchipped, which is great, but the problem is that if I lose him and he is found by a pet owner, I cannot be sure that they will realise that he has one and report him found so that his chip can be scanned. This tag will remain attached to him always, and is clearly visible. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to EVERY responsible dog owner.
